Reporting to the Sales Director, the Senior Territory Sales Manager's mandate is to promote Manulift products in the construction sector in a structured and strategic manner to drive growth in in the Ontario and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a sales professional who knows how to engage clients, quantify and articulate a value proposition, and close deals. The commission structure is uncapped, and the salary plan is designed to reward top performers with some of the highest salaries in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and developing new clients, including cold calling;
  • Daily management of the territory; maintaining strong relationships with clients through visits to client work sites;
  • Planning and organizing business strategies to achieve desired results and exceed equipment sales targets;
  • Preparing and presenting ROI analyses to demonstrate benefits and potential savings to key decision-makers;
  • Identifying customer needs and responding appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitor prices;
  • Using the sales database in the Salesforce CRM to ensure information is updated daily;
  • Following up post-sale.


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience/external sales position;
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry and its heavy equipment;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Demonstrated prospecting skills for new clients;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop professional relationships;
  • Strong motivation to achieve results;
  • Autonomy, structure, and organizational ability;
  • Experience using a CRM.
