The successful candidate must hold a valid Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for one.

Location: Gatineau & Ottawa

Set up: On-site.

Duration: 12-month contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Total hours:37.5 hours

The Information Management Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Carry out an inventory and audit of the audiovisual archive collections to properly prepare our digitization strategy.
  • On a day-to day basis, the person will generate inventory lists (Excel), compare physical inventory with lists, search for missing information from colleagues and archives, enter data into the database, updates, and reports on progress of work.

The Information Management Coordinator must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Diploma (college or university) in museology, archival science, or information science.
  • 5 years or more in managing audiovisual collections of various formats, maintaining detailed inventories, working in museum databases.
  • Must have strong experience with Excel, Axiel EMu (Ke) & Office 365.
  • French is an asset
