About the Role:

Wiedehopf is looking to hire a Project Coordinator to act as a liaison between our office and the sites our installation teams are working on.

A good communicator with prior experience in construction or architecture, familiar with cladding and siding materials, who understands how to work with AutoCAD will do well in this role. Awareness of worksite safety measures and an appreciation for team-based work are key for any candidate that applies.

About Your Tasks:

  • Work at the office and jobsites.
  • Prepare sketches and note measurements.
  • Input data to Autocad.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installation as needed.
  • Communicate with Contractors, customers, and installers to address project requirements.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Keep records of materials, supplies, and tools at each site.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

Skills, education, and other requirements:

  • construction project coordination: 1 year (required)
  • Licence/Certification:
  • WHMIS Certification (preferred)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
  • Organizational skills to maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Ability to Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • experience and proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
  • General computer literacy is required.
  • Ability to read and understand technical architectural specifications and engineering data relating to exterior cladding systems.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must own safety steel-toed boots

Minimum physical requirements

  • Hazards associated with the trade

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • construction project coordination in Canada: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • WHMIS Certification (preferred)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
