If you are a professional, organized, client-focused individual that is interested in working with a stable, highly reputable company within the GTA, we currently have an immediate opening for the position of **Project Coordinator - Bell Fiber to Home** **Project.**

**Responsibilities**

Working closely with the _Project Team, _taking ownership of projects, and ensuring the effective set-up, administration, coordination and invoicing of all assigned projects.

You will receive, review, process, maintain, manage and ensure the accuracy of all documentation, plans, permits, drawings, specifications, costs, subcontracts, locates, project folders and related reports.

You will be responsible for tracking and ensuring the proper and timely completion of the following construction activities:

- Utility Locates
- Delivery of work notices
- Completing work plans and permits in compliance with Bell guidelines
- Paid Duty Police Officers
- General project administration including creating project folders for field staff, ensuring that all necessary documentation is included in each package prior to distributing to the field
- General project field coordination

**In addition to the construction activities listed above, responsibilities include**:

- Attend meetings with key stakeholders including Bell and the Town of Oakville.
- Liaise between Trans Power field resources, Bell, and subcontractors’ representatives as required.
- Visit sites in advance of construction starting to take pre-construction photos and video.
- Maintain electronic (and where applicable paper) filing systems, ensuring that all new information, documents, drawings, etcetera, are properly documented as they are received in accordance with departmental standards and Bell standards.
- Maintain constant communication with, and provide ongoing updates to, key project stakeholders on a consistent basis, and ensure that project status and reporting updates are consistently and effectively delivered to the appropriate individuals
- Proactively escalate project issues and risks that require the Project Manager’s attention
- Comply fully with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects

**Essential Skills**
- A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to work with little supervision, manage multiple tasks in an organized manner, produce quality and timely work, and meet strict deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Excellent communication, prioritizing, organizational, and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.

**Essential Qualifications**
- The completion of a relevant College or University program in a field including, but not limited to: Business Administration, Office Administration, Project Management or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the utility and/or construction sector is considered a strong asset but not required.
- Valid Class G Drivers License.
