Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Content Strategy Generalist to join our team. This role will focus on multiple content strategy areas, working on two eCommerce product releases. The ideal candidate should have a background in agency work and experience in eCommerce, with skills in content modeling, taxonomy, content management systems (CMS), and tone and voice/conversational (chatbot/AI).


Responsibilities:

Content Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies across multiple areas.
  • Create content models and taxonomies to organize and manage content effectively.
  • Manage content within various CMS platforms.
  • Define and maintain tone and voice guidelines, including conversational content for chatbots and AI.


eCommerce Product Releases:

  • Work on two eCommerce product releases for MetroLinx, focusing on purchasing transit/train tickets.
  • Consolidate purchasing subdomains for a cohesive eCommerce experience.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers.
  • Ensure content strategy aligns with overall project goals and timelines.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Content Strategy Generalist, ideally from an agency background.
  • Strong knowledge of content modeling, taxonomy, CMS, and tone and voice/conversational content.
  • Experience in eCommerce, particularly with product releases and purchasing processes.
  • Ability to work across multiple content strategy areas without being too focused on any single area.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
