In this role you will ensure the development of new customers and the retention of existing customers. About the Role:
Perform scheduled visits to targeted clients while growing the customer base. Some travelling outside of the territory is a possibility. Build relationship with customers. Improve sales by optimizing the product selection. Respond to inquiries about products and services. Attend trade shows and sales meeting occasionally. Prepare information packages and other necessary supporting materials. Produce expense reports. Maintain updated information for customer records, prospects and service proposals. Contribute to the improvement of the development strategy and marketing plan. Continuously updating all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- Post secondary education in Marketing or a related field would be an asset, combined with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in wholesale distribution to industrial manufacturers with a focus on the secondary wood processing industry-residential/commercial casework, hospitality furniture, wood windows, kitchen cabinetry and architectural woodwork.
- Excellent English communication (written and spoken).
- Good computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented with good presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Organized, autonomous, resourceful, hardworking.
Pay range and compensation package:
Salary: $50,000.
Compensation includes a base salary + commission, Car allowance, Group insurance program, Employee Share Purchase Plan.
