We believe that building a community around seniors that cares for them and provides companionship goes a long way in supporting them.

Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Business Development Representative to join our team. The role will involve pitching our technology platform to potential customers, building and maintaining customer relationships, coordinating training sessions for new customers, and working with the sales team to develop sales strategies. This is an on-site role located in Toronto West Region including Mississauga, Oakville Guelph.


As the ideal candidate, you:

  • Focus on new business opportunities, marketing, and community involvement. This position requires telephone and face-to-face sales calls with referral sources and direct interaction with clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospital social workers and discharge planners, assisted living facilities, rehab facilities, physicians’ offices, B2B and B2C etc.
  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring sales campaigns both digital and direct.
  • Generate referrals for Tuktu Care by building vital business relationships, manages relationships with referral sources to promote and expand Tuktu Care services and leveraging all available technologies for increased effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Help manages the process of converting a referral into an active Tuktu client.
  • Promote Tuktu Care through participation in local healthcare or business committees as well as community events.
  • Responsible for creating and establishing the marketing strategies and tactics for Home Care Services.
  • Assist in production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Lead and coordinate sales and marketing events and lead generation activities


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of the Ontario healthcare industry is required
  • Prior experience in home health or retirement sales or business development is preferred
  • Must reside in the GTA
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
