PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Coordinator to support our business development team in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves assisting in the development of strategic plans, managing client relationships, and coordinating business initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Business Development Specialists in development and implementation of business strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, events, and presentations for customers and internal business development team.
  • Contact point for customer inquiries
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Support the preparation of contracts, agreements, and other business documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business initiatives and prepare performance reports.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Provide administrative support for the business development team as needed.
  • Internal and external customer onboarding
  • Process customer orders via EDI, email, phone or fax.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of sales, and shipping activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and coordinate tradeshow activities.
  • Coordinate supply chain functions
  • Monitor stock levels
  • Liaise with procurement on stock replenishment
  • Manage close to code inventory
  • Provide end-to-end support on export shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Liaise with the various departments to ensure on time communication and project timelines.
  • Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with relevant data and insights.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of contracts, agreements, and other business documentation.
  • Any additional responsibilities as per the needs of the business/department and customers.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or related roles is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques and business strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Adept a fostering rapport, creating and maintaining a positive, engaging culture with both new prospects and existing customers.
