CEC is a division of Watsco – North America’s largest distributor of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment and related parts and supplies in the HVAC/R industry.
What you will be responsible for:
- Develop a clear vision for the region to achieve short and long term strategic business plans.
- Develop and promote a working culture of high expectations and teamwork.
- Develop a “high performance” culture based on empowerment and accountability by identifying, recruiting, coaching, and developing current & new employees to build a high quality, high performing and motivated team.
- Develop a positive and energized focused environment to improve the branch and sales team processes in the region.
- Build strong customer relationships to increase customer loyalty & satisfaction levels.
- Grow revenues, EBIT and share of customer wallet within the region.
- Lead efforts to increase top and bottom-line financials to achieve consistent and sustainable performance improvements in sales, margins, cashflow and inventory levels.
- Ensure Carrier Enterprise Canada’s policies and procedures are uniformly and consistently applied across the region.
Who you are:
- A minimum of 10 years of HVAC/R residential/wholesale experience, including at least 5 years of solid management/leadership experience at a senior level would be an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business or an HVACR discipline.
- Strategic thinker with solid business management skills with financial acumen.
- Proven leadership abilities to develop, motivate and coach a strong high-performance team.
- Organized, independent individual with superior communication and interpersonal skills in both a group and individual setting.
- Strong sales, negotiation and relationship building skills with customers and vendors.
- Creative and goal-oriented problem solver who is able to solicit and generate new ideas and initiatives.
- Customer service oriented balanced with a “Win-Win” attitude for both the customer and the business.
- Expert Computer skills

Vos responsabilités :
- Établir une vision nette pour la région pour que les buts à court et à long terme et les plans stratégiques soient atteints.
- Concevoir et promouvoir une culture de travail d’équipe où les attentes sont élevées.
- Établir une culture de rendement élevé reposant sur la responsabilisation et le pouvoir d’agir en aidant les directeurs régionaux des ventes à repérer, à recruter, à encadrer et à perfectionner les employés actuels et nouveaux afin de bâtir une équipe très performante et motivée.
- Établir un environnement de travail positif, dynamique et concentré afin d’améliorer les processus des succursales et des équipes de vente de la région.
- Établir de solides relations avec les clients pour accroître leur loyauté et augmenter les taux de satisfaction.
- Augmenter le chiffre d’affaires, les résultats avant intérêts et impôts (EBIT), et la part de marché dans la région.
- Diriger les efforts visant à augmenter les ventes brutes et les résultats nets, à améliorer le rendement des ventes, les marges, l’encaisse et le niveau des stocks de façon constante et durable.
- Faire en sorte que les politiques et pratiques de Carrier Enterprise Canada soient appliquées avec uniformité et cohérence dans toute la région.
Vous apportez :
- Au moins 10 années d’expérience en CVCA/R, en ventes résidentielles/de gros, y compris au moins cinq années d’expérience éprouvée en gestion/leadership à un niveau supérieur.
- Formation postsecondaire en commerce ou dans une discipline liée au CVCA/R.
- Capacité de réfléchir de façon stratégique combinée à de solides compétences en administration des affaires et à un bon sens de la finance.
- Aptitudes éprouvées en leadership afin d’encadrer et de motiver une équipe forte et performante et de l’aider à se perfectionner.
- Personne organisée et autonome possédant des aptitudes supérieures à la communication et aux interactions interpersonnelles, tant en groupe que de personne à personne.
- Robustes compétences en ventes et en négociation, capacité d’établir des relations avec les clients et les fournisseurs.
- Personne créative qui sait résoudre des problèmes, demander et proposer de nouvelles idées et initiatives.
- Attitude orientée client équilibrée par la recherche de solutions gagnantes pour le client comme pour l’entreprise.
