This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operational activities to ensure all customer orders are completed and delivered on time with the highest quality of service. Day-to-day activities include, but not limited to, ordering, inventory control, processing orders, merchandising, customer service, and labour scheduling. The Manager will lead and manage staff to achieve the highest level of customer service, while adhering to all Food Safety Protocols, Operating Procedures, and Health and Safety Guidelines, and other programs and initiatives. The Manager will also manage inventory control, product presentation and merchandising. The Manager will coach, motivate, and develop their team to foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for retail operations and deliverables (e.g. inventory, ordering, item maintenance, quality and rotation, shrink, merchandising, invoicing, and scheduling)
- Exhibit exceptional product knowledge, including awareness of product changes, promotions, and seasonal trends
- Accountable for boosting sales and margins by promoting products and providing recommendations for cost savings initiatives
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership and customer service
- Responsible for store coverage rotation as a Manager on Duty (e.g. opening/closing store)
- Communicate operational requirements/changes to employees
- Ensure compliance with Safe Food Handling regulations as well as Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
- Coordinate maintenance of department equipment and repairs
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 10 plus years of experience as a butcher or meat manger
- 5 years of progressive experience supervising or managing retail operations
- Extensive knowledge of industry and seasonal trends
- Experienced working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining priorities and a high level of performance
- Ability to manage inventory levels, order stock and price products to achieve gross margin targets
- Must demonstrate outstanding customer service and high attention to detail
- Motivated, ambitious, passionate, and determined mindset
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays
- Fluent in Italian considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Management: 3 years (preferred)
