Purpose of the role:

The Digital Activation Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and management for assigned clients including, but not limited to, planning, negotiation, ratings estimates, relationship development and mentoring support staff. In addition, this role is responsible for plan execution, implementing and interpreting analytics, measurement, and tracking of digital media campaigns. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in broadcast media & digital media channels.


The Role & Expectations


Reporting

  • Contribute to the development of reporting and insight generation to help drive results, communicating directly to client and client team.
  • Conduct accurate data processing, analysis, interpreting results and making actionable recommendations.
  • Responsible for managing client specific reporting for the purpose of quality control and budget management.



Communication & Collaboration:

  • Participate in developing the analytics and broadcast capabilities within the agency and with existing clients.
  • Regular interaction with department team members.
  • Liaise with internal OMD departments (e.g. Traffic, Accounting, and Portfolio Management) as well as OMD vendors.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior staff, including proofreading all communication, data entry and documents to ensure accuracy and quality.



Accountability:

  • Work with broadcast & digital leads, data leads and strategic leads to ensure PHD’s quality standards are adhered to across the board.
  • Identify and develop tactical opportunities that meet client and corporate objectives through actionable insights derived from analytics.
  • Apply various quantitative methods to analyse and interpret information from multiple data sources while providing a layer of strategic thinking and insight generation.



Financial Management:

  • Manage broadcast and digital reporting to flag any potential issues with budget, variances versus contracts.

Key Qualifications

  • University education in marketing, communication or other relevant related fields.
  • Outstanding record of academic and professional achievement with 2-3 years’ business experience in online and offline planning or buying experience with a strong understanding of digital media analytics
  • Experience with Infosys, DDS and Prisma Digital Management systems
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Proven experience with Google Analytics and third-party ad-servers (e.g. Google Campaign Manager). Experience with other digital solutions (Omniture, WebTrends, Social Media monitoring) a bonus.
  • Knowledge of evaluation of marketing ROI, conversion funnel analysis and optimization.
