We are looking for an innovative and proactive Senior HR Generalist to join our industry leading, innovative client. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be overseeing a team of 2-4.


You will be responsible for managing a variety of human resources activities including labour relations, grievances, investigations and coaching. Your strong background in these areas will enable us to continue to create a high-performing and harmonious workplace for all employees.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and providing consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labour relations.
  • Managing employee relations including investigating and resolving employee grievances.
  • Providing guidance on and manage the performance management process, including reviews and performance improvement plans.
  • Acting as a mentor to junior HR staff, providing guidance and coaching as necessary.
  • Taking a lead role in special projects and initiatives as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and labour relations.
  • Excellent understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with HR software (HRIS, ATS).
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach others, resolve conflict and provide problem-solving solutions.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred.
