As we professionalize our management structure to support sustained growth and innovation, we are seeking a Corporate Controller to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial operations and driving organizational efficiency. Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, the Corporate Controller will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls for our group of companies. Additionally, the role will lead the implementation of financial strategies, with a focus on integrating and optimizing financial systems across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and excels in analytical thinking and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of the group’s financial statements.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models for all business units.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
- Maintain cost accounting and data analytics to enhance manufacturing decision-making.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions to optimize working capital.
- Lead the preparation of working papers and liaise with external accountants.
- Provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making at the executive level.
- Evaluate, implement, and integrate financial systems and software to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Drive the alignment of financial processes across the organization to support scalability and growth.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in retail, wholesale, or manufacturing industries.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
