Missive is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts from the ground up.


Over the past 5 years, Missive has achieved ~60% organic year over year growth with minimal marketing effort, and this role is expected to drive further momentum. You'll have the unique opportunity to build and implement our marketing initiatives from scratch.


The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product-led growth and data-driven marketing strategies, with the ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a startup environment (small team, big impact). Success will require both strategic planning, and the ability to be hands-on and deliver results.


You Work


  • Strategy: Define and execute a marketing strategy aligned with company goals and market needs. Plan and manage the budget to optimize resource allocation across channels.
  • Brand: Capture the essence of our team and product and come up with a unique brand narrative and product messaging.
  • Content: Create compelling content that clearly communicates our value proposition, including landing pages, ad campaigns, articles, case studies, product videos, etc.
  • Growth: Execute, test and refine data-driven campaigns across multiple channels to boost traffic and optimize conversions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product and customer experience teams to ensure a cohesive approach to user acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Data: Identify key activation metrics and leading indicators that correlate with user conversion and retention. Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make informed decisions.


Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in all things related to what is listed in this job offer.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, social media, online ads and email marketing.
  • Encyclopedic knowledge of marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Mixpanel, etc.)

Compensation


The salary for this position depends on experience and qualifications within the range of CAD $125,000 to $165,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes insurance coverage, 5 weeks of vacation time, and other perks.

Le succès dépendra d'une planification stratégique solide tout autant que d'une approche pratique pour obtenir des résultats concrets.


Vos missions


  • Stratégie: Définir et exécuter une stratégie marketing alignée avec les objectifs de l'entreprise et les besoins du marché. Gérer le budget pour optimiser l'allocation des ressources à travers les différents canaux.
  • Marque: Capturer l'essence de notre équipe et de notre produit, et créer une narrative de marque unique ainsi qu'un message produit percutant.
  • Contenu: Produire du contenu attrayant qui communique clairement notre proposition de valeur, y compris des landing pages, des campagnes publicitaires, des articles, des études de cas, des vidéos produit, etc.
  • Croissance: Exécuter, tester et affiner des campagnes basées sur les données à travers plusieurs canaux pour accroître le trafic et optimiser les conversions.
  • Collaboration: Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes produit et expérience client pour assurer une approche cohérente en matière d'acquisition, de rétention et d'expansion des utilisateurs.
  • Données: Identifier les indicateurs clés d'activation qui sont en corrélation avec la conversion et la rétention des utilisateurs. Utiliser les données et les analyses pour mesurer l'efficacité des campagnes marketing et prendre des décisions éclairées.

  • Excellentes compétences en communication (écrite et orale).
  • 5 ans ou plus d'expérience dans tous les aspects décrits dans cette offre.
  • Solide compréhension du marketing de contenu, SEO, réseaux sociaux, publicités en ligne et marketing par e-mail.
  • Connaissance approfondie des outils marketing (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Mixpanel, etc.).

Rémunération


Le salaire pour ce poste dépendra de l'expérience et des qualifications, dans une fourchette allant de 125 000 $ à 165 000 $ CAD par an. En plus du salaire de base, nous offrons un ensemble complet d'avantages incluant une couverture d'assurance, 5 semaines de vacances et d'autres avantages.
