With continued growth they are seeking a Personnel & Scheduling (Crewing) Coordinator at their Burlington, ON head office. You will be a member of the Personnel & Logistics Team reporting directly to the Operations Manager with responsibility for the effective execution of vessel crewing functions for your assigned group of vessels with a focus on high level of service to the vessel crews. The successful candidate will be a self driven, highly organized and motivated individual who brings positivity to the team while following the directions and procedures as set out by management. The ability to thrive in deadline driven environments while delivering high quality service, is in an integral component of this role. Key responsibilities include coordinating vessel crew changes, communicating updates to vessel masters and shoreside crews, organizing ancillary services, liaising with operations managers, and mediating high volumes of email and phone correspondence. The role also involves providing monthly reports, managing crew certification, supporting payroll, and monitoring third-party travel vendors.


Key skills and qualifications required are excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization skills along with a post-secondary education in Business, Transportation/Logistics, Human Resources or Travel/Tourism. Previous experience in marine or transportation dispatch environments is an added advantage. The role demands a motivated self-starter and the ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments while delivering high-quality service. The successful candidate can look forward to a 3/2 hybrid work configuration with a competitive total compensation program working alongside a team of passionate colleagues.
