Are you a seasoned leader in supply chain and materials management looking to take your career to the next level? Our client is seeking a Materials Manager to lead their purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence and innovation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role:


Reporting to the Operations Leader, the Materials Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing best practices to create an agile and synchronized supply chain. You will oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including purchasing, materials planning, warehousing, and logistics, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead all supply chain activities, including planning, sourcing, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Deploy and implement Lean material management processes such as Kanban, pull systems, JIT, and MRP.
  • Oversee supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost optimization.
  • Manage departmental budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Recruit, coach, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure inventory availability.
  • Develop and communicate supply chain KPIs and metrics.
  • Drive process efficiencies throughout the material flow process.


What You Bring


  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with sourcing, demand planning, and supplier quality management.
  • A proven track record of improving supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.
