The Opportunity:

We are looking a Technical Sales Manager in the Montreal area that has an excellent understanding of baking, R&D/PD and can sell into the baking sector in Quebec and Eastern Canada. You will have an excellent understanding the industry players are in this sector of the food processing industry.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

-Report to the Head Office in Brampton, Ontario

-Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships

-Identify new business opportunities in the bakery sector

-Define appropriate product and service solutions for existing and new customers

-Provide ideas about innovative raw materials & technologies that will make IREKS products stand out in the market

-Support customers with new bread product implementation on processing lines

-Active participation in trade shows providing customers with technical product expertise and samples

-Grow expertise in hands-on bread baking for product demonstrations

-Ensure confidentiality on formulas and intellectual property

-Secure a functional link with the specialists at the headquarters in Germany

-Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities and submit reports in accordance with required details

Ideal Qualifications and Competencies:

-Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in the bakery sector. A degree as a Master Baker would be a big asset

-Bilingual. Excellent written & verbal communication skills in French and English

-Strong communication skills – customer oriented – strong networker

-Team player, self-motivated with a positive attitude and driven to achieve assigned sales targets

-Valid driver’s license and own/lease a well-maintained and reliable vehicle

-Willing to do travel approximately 50%
