Heavy duty, light duty or mechanical shop experience is a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:
  • Researches, prices and orders parts for all equipment and vehicles in Jacob Bros’ fleet
  • Maintains inventory of required shop supplies and filters
  • Assists with schematics/repair procedures of heavy equipment
  • Picks up and delivers parts or supplies as required
  • Reports to the Mechanical Superintendent; works closely with the Equipment Manager and Yard Manager
  • Works closely with the Shop Superintendent, Heavy Duty and Light Duty Mechanics
Requirements:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel
  • Valid BC drivers license; class 3 and or/air endorsement an asset
  • 2 years previous experience working as a Service and/or Parts Advisor
  • Forklift ticket an asset
  • Heavy duty, light duty or mechanical shop experience is a mandatory requirement
  • Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada
  • No rotations or LOA will be given
