**The Role**:
We have a position available for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician/Service Administrator in our Surrey, BC location to inspect, diagnose, recommend, and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems and electronics of concrete pumping equipment

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Heavy Equipment Technician**
- Inspect, diagnose, recommend, service and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems and electronics of concrete pumping equipment
- Check/test all repaired work to ensure that pumps are in good and safe operating condition
- Record parts and equipment utilized on the repair order and ensure the parts person is aware of stock taken
- Maintenance on support equipment

**Service “Administrator”**
- Greet and assist customers, and coordinate appointments
- Process service-related paperwork and communicate with accounting for invoicing
- Assign tasks and direction to technicians (including own tasks)
- Maintain and organize workflow of shop
- Manage technician productivity - lunch, breaks, deliveries, task completion
- Shop cleanliness
- Join in on service meetings
- Ensure we have inventory of shop supplies

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of secondary school or trade certificate an asset
- Able to work at heights (can provide training)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
- Able to work independently, be reliable, and self-driven
- An understanding of concrete, construction, and concrete pumping
- Previous experience working on Mack or Putzmeister equipment an asset
- Previous experience working on hydraulics
- Dependable, hardworking, punctual, reliable, team player with positive attitude

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

- mechanical: 2 years (required)
