Position Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is critical in driving the communication strategy and execution for all our events, from large conferences to hosted and partner events. The primary goal is to maximize attendance by promoting these events to both existing customers and potential future customers. You will lead the integrated communication plan, working closely with various teams within the marketing department (social media, PR, content, video) and other departments such as design and sales, ensuring alignment across all touchpoints. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the events team to coordinate efforts and achieve successful event promotion.

Major Responsibilities:

Develop and execute communication strategies to promote a portfolio of events, including three major conferences (ranging from 200 to 3000 attendees) and multiple hosted events. Take ownership of both strategy and execution by not only developing the communication plans but also executing campaigns directly using tools such as CRM and email marketing automation systems to ensure successful deployment. Coordinate with all marketing teams (social media, PR, content, production…) and other departments like design and sales to ensure a cohesive communication approach for each event. Collaborate with the event team to ensure alignment on promotional efforts while the event team handles logistics, partnerships, and organization. Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, social media, digital advertising, PR, and content marketing to boost event registration and attendance. Oversee partner communication efforts to ensure seamless integration with our partnered events. Measure and report on campaign performance, using data to optimize future event communications and improve registration and attendee engagement. Lead event reporting efforts by working closely with the analytics team to build event communication dashboards and reports and provide detailed insights across all channels. Coordinate with internal teams, such as creative and content teams, to produce high-quality promotional materials. Stay updated with the latest communication and promotion trends to continuously enhance event promotion strategies.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in event communication or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale event promotions. Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and strategies. Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and integration with leading marketing automation tools is highly preferred. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and timelines. Experience in B2B communication is a plus. Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and departments to achieve communication goals.
