PURPOSE

The Manager, Business Technology Transformation is responsible for leading and managing technology-driven transformation initiatives. This role involves overseeing the implementation of new technologies, optimizing existing systems, and ensuring that technology investments align with the organization’s strategic goals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop and implement a technology transformation strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives. Identify and assess emerging technologies that can drive business improvements. Create a technology roadmap that outlines key initiatives, timelines, and resource requirements. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, IT staff, cross-functional team members, and external vendors. Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders. Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve project approaches and outcomes. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives. Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Use data and analytics to assess project impact and make data-driven decisions. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor project risks and issues, addressing them promptly to minimize impact. Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred). 5-7 years of experience in in technology transformation, IT project management, or a similar role Proven experience in managing complex projects and driving organizational change. A proven experience in technology implementations Work experience in management consulting is an asset Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, , Agile). Strong understanding of change management frameworks and best practices. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
