Job description

Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in clients' operations and offer recommendations for risk mitigation. Evaluate and improve existing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide guidance to clients on designing and implementing transaction monitoring and screening systems for detecting and reporting suspicious activities and sanctioned entities. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk management, and technology, to seamlessly integrate controls throughout the organization. Deliver reports and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities, as required. Take charge of mentoring and managing junior consultants, offering guidance and support for their professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, or law. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred. Previous working experience (minimum of 1-3 years) from banking or financial services industries or consulting firm. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and develop practical solutions. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work products. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences. Experience with data analytics tools and technologies such as Excel VBA, SQL, Python is a plus.
