The Business & Systems Consultant has deep knowledge of a wide variety of business concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to IT and general operations; they rely on their expertise, experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and to perform a variety of tasks. The Business & Systems Consultant conducts needs analysis, writes user stories, collaborates with others for system design; and supports squads to increase productivity and reduce costs.

**What will you do?**
- Facilitates the identification of business and IT process improvements, system design, testing and implementation of solutions
- Works collaboratively with Squad members to address high-priority backlog items
- Works with the the team to conduct analysis on business requests with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organization
- Analyzes and documents how systems, processes, procedures and clients will be impacted by future development
- Works with the team to facilitate requirements interviews and workshops
- Analyzes and defines user requirements and translate them into system requirements/user stories
- Creates and/or provides input into internal and external communications and user documentation
- Reviews and provides feedback to business and technical documentation
- Works with business on the roll out of what has been developed. and analysis on client impacts.
- Supports testing with a focus on end to end validation

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Experienced in or excited to learn Agile way of working
- University degree in business or technology or equivalent experience
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Business Consultant/Business Systems Consultant
- 5 to 10 years of varying requirements gathering techniques
- Skilled at finding hidden requirements, edge cases, and a “desire to break” attitude
- Knowledge of overall financial services industry
- Deep knowledge of relevant business, processes, systems and capabilities
- Good understanding of privacy, compliance, control and security requirements
- Skilled in test execution and understanding the outcomes
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable with data requirements and related data activities
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate both complex business and technical concepts and align organization on decisions
- Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply
- Strong interpersonal / relationship building skills with technical and business personnel
- Passionate about the client, technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies
- Can act in an advisory capacity as well as coach/mentor Business Analysts
- Strong Miro knowledge
- User experience design
- Transformational system work, moving from legacy system to modern system
