We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Coordinator in Brampton, Ontario. This position is based in the horticulture industry and is ideal for someone with a strong background in regulatory affairs and compliance. As a Technical Coordinator, you will provide regulatory and technical support across all departments, ensuring compliance with local and international legislation.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with all fertilizers and manufacturing regulatory requirements at both local and international levels.
• Oversee and manage regulatory inspections in coordination with government inspectors.
• Maintain product registration numbers and key dates in the ERP system.
• Participate in industry meetings and forums to represent the interests of the team.
• Assist in maintaining and creating technical documents as needed.
• Communicate with key vendors and the research community.
• Handle complaints and communicate resolutions related to product performance and quality.
• Understand the product line and manufacturing processes thoroughly.
• Stay updated with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
• Provide advice on company policies, practices, and systems.
• Outline requirements for labeling, storage, and packaging of fabricated and purchased materials.
• Use specialist computer applications as necessary.
• Hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Possess strong communication skills
• Have a background in Regulatory Affairs with knowledge of Regulatory Documents, Regulatory Filings, and Regulatory Inspections
• Understand and comply with Regulatory Policies and carry out Regulatory Research
• Show a keen interest and understanding of Horticulture
• Exhibit creative problem-solving abilities
• Be a creative thinker, able to generate innovative solutions to challenges
• Have a strong understanding of compliance procedures
• Experience in a technical coordinator role is a plus.
