**How You'll Perform the Role** Manufacturing Supervisor
- Technical**

The Manufacturing Supervisor (technical) will be providing technical support on OMG, Kiefel, Brown thermoforming machines, and Extrusion lines in Brampton. Works closely with the setup team, and Supervisory team, in the thermoforming and Extrusion plants. Trains Supervisors in technical skills. Wears multiple hats and is a team player in a fast-paced environment. Always ready to roll up sleeves to get the job done.

**Major responsibilities: -**
- Coach production supervisors, and plant staff, and coordinate plant activities.
- Responsible for learning and setting up all platforms in thermoforming plants.
- Perform machine and tool setups with a high degree of quality and efficiency.
- Train, coach, and mentor Supervisors in setting up and trouble-shooting the machines.
- Train, Coach, and mentor extrusion supervisors in running the production lines on-target.
- Participate in projects related to production efficiency, Cycle time improvement, waste reduction, and operational optimization.
- Assist with implementing special Projects in Extrusion (PCR and all new developments).
- Work closely in improving OEE in thermoforming plants and Extrusion.
- Implement cost reduction projects.
- Work as a Production Supervisor in any manufacturing plant (Floating supervisor) where needed.
- Contributes to team effort by taking on added tasks as required.
- Lead by example: maintain a safe, secure, enjoyable professional working environment.
- Participate in shift meetings and prioritize action items.
- Provide input and suggestions regarding new product development in plug-assist machines.
- Identify, document, and execute at least four improvement projects per year to increase the overall efficiency of the operations.
- Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations and those within the company.
- Follow the appropriate PPE devices used as per the policy of the company.
- Diligently follow the Lockout/Tag-out procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.

**What We Need From You** Key Requirements**
- College Diploma in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 Years’ experience in roll-fed thermoforming and extrusion lines.
- Good communication skills in English, verbal and written.
- Strong team player with multitasking abilities
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good listener and fair unbiased dealing with conflicts
