We currently require a strong leader with a strategic, hands-on, results oriented leadership style for our Regional Manager of Clinics position located in Alberta. We are a national provider of workplace medical testing and assessments based in Ayr, Ontario. We have Occupational Health Clinics in Kitchener, Sarnia, Mississauga, Calgary, Nisku, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. Overall Responsibilities: 

The primary focus of the Regional Manager Clinics is to manage and continuously improve the Alberta DriverCheck Clinics, its staff and any future locations that may be assigned. The Regional Manager will work independently on various projects, offer leadership and guidance to staff, while operating successfully in a very fast paced environment. The Regional Manager will uphold the DriverCheck Management Expectations and appropriately embody the DriverCheck Difference. The specific duties and accountabilities of the manager include but are not limited to:

Leadership Functions:

Oversee the operations of all western DC Clinics which includes working closely with the senior leadership team to navigate and support the achievement of the strategic objectives within the DC PlayBook Work in conjunction with Clinic Supervisors, Team Leads and Senior Clinic Manager to ensure the clinics and IMS projects operate efficiently and effectively on a daily basis (travel will be required) Understand that this role may require flexibility in additional hours to support the needs of staff and projects that operate outside of core office hours Lead by example by being able to step in and provide hands on support working on the clinic floor and being available for staff Provide onsite guidance and mentorship for staff to assist in their growth and development

Clinic Functions:

Work with the Supervisors and Team Leads to support and guide them in the management of their clinics, including but not limited to:Implement and maintain efficient and consistent daily workflow processes and proceduresMaintain compliance with all related regulations or legislation  Ensure staff maintain certification requirements and are trained properly and regularly Be accountable for clinic expenditures and financials Ensure standard operating procedures and medical directives are followed Promote DriverCheck Clinics through program development, potential clients and other growth opportunities Support the addition of new clinics as it may apply Support the addition of new services and new technologies (for example, Injury Management and new testing devices) Manage clinic leases and building/location requirements Maintain existing Industrial Medical Staffing projects and promote the development of new projects Maintain inventory of supplies Review and compare financials for DCCs in order to determine best practices and implement across all DCCs Liaise with all departments of the company, but especially the Occupational Health Department and A&D Results Department (for example, to assist in the development and roll-out of new programs) Support the Sales and Marketing team with clinic network inquiries Oversee the coordination of mobile testing Work with the Software Development team to enhance the functionality of our software (for example, enhanced calendar functionality, echains) Assist with Implementing and maintaining a quality control program Oversee special projects and department initiatives Participate in client meetings with other departments Maintain open communication with senior leaders (communicating up) Operate and adapt successfully in a very fast paced environment

General operational Functions: 

Report to the Sr. Manager of Clinics Follow Employer’s policies and procedures and ensure employees are as well Lead system improvements to automate and streamline existing department processes Monitor, develop and maintain effective internal controls and process in compliance with applicable legislation & regulations Meet with key representatives or suppliers as required Perform regular departmental reviews for cost savings and efficiency initiatives Have some knowledge of Disability case management and Injury management Will assist with and maintain some administrative duties as needed
