A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a Parts Business Leader to work with customers, regional business leaders, engineering, procurement, and technical services to develop customer quotes for Steam Turbine (ST) parts and repairs. With our large OEM fleet which includes Parsons, Siemens, and others, there are always new opportunities for learning and innovating to provide solutions for our customers. This role is perfect for someone who likes to learn and collaborate with others while working in a fast-paced environment. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

Strategic Planning and Management: Developing and implementing strategic plans for the parts business to achieve company goals, including growth, profitability, and market share.
Sales and Marketing: Leading sales and marketing efforts for parts, including identifying market opportunities, creating marketing strategies, and driving sales growth. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Supply Chain and Inventory Management: Overseeing the supply chain operations for parts, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting for the parts business. This includes pricing strategies and margin management to achieve financial targets.
Product Development and Management: Working with engineering and product development teams to ensure the parts meet industry standards and customer requirements. This includes managing the lifecycle of parts from development to obsolescence.
Team Leadership and Development: Leading and developing a team of professionals within the parts business, ensuring they have the necessary skills and motivation to perform effectively.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring all parts and operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and quality assurance processes.
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conducting market analysis and competitive research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market disruptions. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the parts business, seeking ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance product offerings.

 These responsibilities require a combination of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, leadership skills, and customer-focused approach to successfully manage and grow the parts business in the energy sector.

What You Bring

5 or more years of experience in Oil & Gas, or related field Proficient in technical and commercial writing for proposals Salesforce Knowledge Experience with Steam Turbines and working with customers is highly valued Basic knowledge in drawing reading with dimensioning, tolerancing, material specifications and bills of materials Experience working as an individual contributor, as well as leading a small team
