About the role
We’re looking for a Bilingual Claims Representative I - Claims Management Services (CMS) to join our growing team
What you'll do here:
Open new claims on the phone with clients and ensure immediate handling of the situation.
Gather versions of events from the insured and/or witnesses by interviewing them about the events.
Determine if the claim is covered or not by analyzing the coverage required to cover the claim.
Analyze the information obtained, make decisions that will be used to establish liability and review the assessment of damages.
Settle the claim in a fair and reasonable manner, validate damages and complete payments.
What you bring to the table:
Bilingual - French and English is required
University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
Experience that is relevant to the position.
Strong time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
