Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated  Research Technical Assistant to maintain our mouse colony and help with experiments on cancer and aging research. The successful candidate will be genuinely interested in research, and work closely with other members of the lab.

Duties

Mouse maintenance and breeding using PCR-based genotyping Drug treatment, imaging, histological analysis, Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry (IHC) Monitors and maintains lab chemical/cell stocks and/or equipment

Qualifications

A related degree in community college is required 3 months of related experience is required General technical knowledge and skills to perform routine, standardized laboratory research techniques and procedures preferred Experience handling mice colonies preferred Experience in cell culture and molecular biology preferred A willingness to learn new techniques and technologies Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and accurately under deadlines Meticulous and detail-oriented
