The Role

The Vice President, Financial Solutions will be responsible for Neo's banking product strategy, responsible for the P&L across all solutions, including Credit Cards, Mortgage, Deposits & Investments; with a focus on driving a profitable receivables book and quality deposits balances in support of Neo’s customer growth strategy.

What you’ll be doing

Solution Manufacturing: 

  • You’ll develop and lead the Banking solutions teams for Neo, with a focus on Credit Cards, Savings and Mortgages, supporting the growth of the business and ensuring Neo’s Banking solutions are integrated with the company’s Growth strategy.
  • As the champion for retail product offerings, you will direct and influence cross-functional teams to implement strategies that support Neo's growth initiatives
  • You evolve Neo’s existing product line pricing structures, strategies, and tactics in ways that reflect business growth, customer preferences, and revenue targets
  • Interpret and manage market trends, competitor actions, and internal capabilities to make decisions that align with the corporate model / alignment to the Growth objectives & Neo’s long-term goals.

Financial Design & Engineering

  • You’ll develop and lead the P&L for Neo, with a focus on Unsecured & Secured lending, & Deposits, supporting the growth of the business and ensuring P&L is integrated with the company strategy.
  • Planning, pricing & budgeting to navigate the individual financial products P&Ls to align to the Growth objectives & Neo’s daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual plan.

Operational oversight: 

  • Hands-on approach to oversee financial product operations. Ensuring operational efficiencies that align with financial objectives. 

Risk management: 

  • You work closely with Credit Risk to deliver a balanced strategy that reflects the growth ambitions of the company
  • Identifying and mitigating risks that could adversely affect the financial outcomes. Calculated decisions that balance potential gains with risks. 

Leadership and team development: 

  • Inspiring and guiding Neo’s broader team towards achieving our financial objectives. Cultivating a culture where the distributed banking teams are aligned with the financial goals of the organization.

Who we are looking for

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of senior leadership experience at a fast-growing organization
  • You have senior P&L ownership experience of unsecured credit solutions, with a focus on Credit Cards.
  • You have extensive experience in retail banking, credit cards, and unsecured loans or lines of credit
  • Deposits & Investments experience is an asset
  • You have entrepreneurial DNA, you’re comfortable building a business from the ground up, and you can make decisions in the face of ambiguity
  • You have excellent communication skills, including an ability to develop concise summaries of complex analyses and data appropriate for various levels of consumption
  • Strategy/consulting experience is considered a strong asset
