We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Logistics Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide full administrative support to the team and support the logistical operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the movement of assets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of logistics and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide daily administrative support and document control.

· Generate work orders ensuring accuracy and completeness of information such as item descriptions and destinations.

· Organize and maintain paperwork related to logistics operations, including work orders and related documents. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with relevant regulations and company policies.

· Perform checks on paperwork and documentation to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies. Rectify errors promptly and communicate with operations team.

· Liaise with various divisions and team members regarding administrative and logistical matters.

· Act as support to the Logistics Coordinator.

· Assist in daily schedule.

· Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone and two way devices.

· Participate in team/staff meetings when required.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Daily interaction with employees regarding daily job logs and logistics support.

· Use of GFL proprietary software to enter ticket information and track productivity.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

· Completion of high school. Post-secondary courses or diploma would be considered an asset.

· Previous transportation, dispatch or customer service experience an asset.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong customer focus.

· Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.

· Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word.

· Knowledge of industry an asset.

· Advanced skill level with software applications and word processing accuracy including adequate typing speed.

· Required to work extended hours including occasional weekends.

· Additional or specialized training in transportation, logistics, or similar area of study; customer service experience in a call center environment.
