TheSubstance Abuse Counselor specializes in treating individuals withaddiction and substance use disorders. This role focuses on helpingclients achieve recovery through counseling andsupport.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Assessclients substance use history and relatedissues.
  • Developand implement individualized treatmentplans.
  • Conductindividual and group counselingsessions.
  • Monitorclients progress and adjust treatment plans asnecessary.
  • Facilitateeducational workshops on addictionprevention.

Requirements
  • Bachelors or Master s degree in Counseling Social Work or a related field;certification in substance abuse counselingpreferred.
  • Experiencein addiction treatment or recoverysettings.
  • Strongcommunication and motivational interviewingskills.
