The day-to-day work of an Outside Sales Representative

Develop account strategies that meet the business center's sales objectives;

Develop profitable incremental sales for new and existing accounts;

Coordinate sales and customer service efforts with inside sales and purchasing;

Support inside sales and quoting specialists to drive excellent customer service, operational efficiency and account profitability;

Ensure in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of customers, as well as competitors' strengths and weaknesses;

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and supplier representatives;

Develop solutions to customer problems;

Provide accurate market information to the Business Center Manager and other members of the sales team;

Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of various product lines.

External sales representative profile

Minimum of five (5) years industry experience preferred and at least two (2) years sales experience or a combination of relevant professional training and experience;

Demonstrated sales ability;

Excellent communication and organizational skills;

Excellent oral and written French;

Product knowledge;

Must be customer service and results oriented;

Computer experience an asset.
