Estimating
  • Collaborate with the Lead Estimator for contract bids on low-rise and high-rise projects.
  • Review drawings and scope of work, creating takeoff bids for submittals.
  • Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of projects to ensure all areas of work are clearly defined.
  • Consult with builders and décor centers to resolve or clarify any issues or discrepancies in documentation.
  • Lead and facilitate the end-to-end pricing process; handle pricing extras as requested by builders and create UPG billing charts.
  • Review and identify any unusual issues requiring pre-approval before work commencement.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including builders, décor centers, and sales staff.
  • Ensure all documentation is consistently updated throughout the project lifecycle, including change orders and requests.
  • Resolve issues or discrepancies with builders raised by Moscone site supervisors.
  • Address issues such as structural changes from original drawings and communicate with builders for any price changes.
  • Prepare billing schedules for Accounts Receivable.
Inventory Control
  • Work with the Purchasing Department and Material Control for bulk buying and material forecasting, ensuring sufficient inventory levels.
  • Oversee periodic cycle counts by preparing spreadsheets, tags, and count sheets.
  • Coordinate and manage annual inventory counts.
  • Review current processes to ensure compliance and inventory controls are followed, identifying efficiencies and potential improvements.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in project coordination, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and documents.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with software tools such as SAGE, BlueBeam and PlanSwift are an asset.
  • Keen eye for detail to identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation and inventory.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
