We are currently seeking

an individual for the role of Analyst to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to the growing team. This role would report directly to the local Value and Risk leader, Alison McGavigan – but with the opportunity to interact and work with professionals across the country. This position aims to provide a wide variety of support services to the team, and the successful candidate will be strong at, and enjoy working with numbers, possess strong writing skills, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.



WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

Working with Argus Enterprise Valuation Software often and proficiently

Working closely with team members to create, edit, and/or prepare market research, cash flow projections, and appraisal reports

Conducting research and collecting information materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants, and economic analysis

Assisting and/or participating in market presentations

Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

WHAT YOU BRING :

Post-secondary education in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Economics, Urban Planning, or Urban Geography is an asset

1-2 years full-time professional experience required in the commercial real estate sector is an asset

Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to: MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Adobe Professional, X, or Standard

Real estate software, such as: ARGUS Enterprise, is a definite asset

Knowledge of key themes impacting capital markets and investment real estate

Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment

Operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders

Detail oriented with strong analytical skills

Ability to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others

Must be proactive and take initiative

Must be able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision
