As an Intermediate UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our digital products and platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, other designers and stakeholders, to create intuitive and visually stunning interfaces. We are looking for a candidate passionate about user-centered design and who wants to conduct user research. Our ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and problem-solving abilities.
Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role:
Work closely with product owners, business analysts and engineering teams to understand project goals and user requirements. Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts. Design for systems with a focus on reusability, scalability and simplicity. Conduct user research, usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs. Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet the desired user experience. Become a driving force for user experience and design as a core competency pillar within the organization. Stay current with industry trends, design tools and emerging technologies.Here’s what you need to have and master to get the job:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design expertise. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices. Experience creating, contributing to and managing design systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and dynamic environment. Familiarity with Ecommerce Experiences, Products within the IT Channel or Cloud Technology are a plus.Benefits of working at Sherweb
