B2B Account Development Representative

Why We Need You:
As a member of the B2B Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in executing outbound top-of-funnel sales activities focused on acquiring new outbound Article B2B members - you'll be the person who opens the doors for our Account Management team. Serving as the initial point of contact for prospective leads. What is even more exciting is that this is one of the first roles on the outbound team of our sales department at Article

About your team:
You will be reporting to the Manager, B2B Sales. You’ll work alongside a team of 3 Account Managers and 3 Sale Assistants, and an Inbound Account Development Representative.
We are a hybrid team - you’ll be in the office 3 days per week at our Vancouver HQ (Required).
What You’ll Do:
- Overseeing and executing all outbound top-of-funnel sales activities for B2B Sales
- Utilizing prospecting tools to create lists of prospects that fit into the ideal customer profile
- Establishing first contact with new prospects to gather additional information regarding current and/or potential needs to determine account viability and growth potential
- Contacting prospects via cold calling, emailing, social selling, and in-person events, where appropriate
- Introducing prospects to Article to convert them into managed accounts
- Identifying prospect needs and customizing solutions based on those needs
- Qualifying prospects and onboarding qualified prospects to customers, including management of the first sale.
- Proactively engaging those currently in the sales pipeline through activation initiatives.
- With the help of the Manager, B2B Sales, developing and tracking the effectiveness of outreach programs
- Cultivating relationships with prospects using clear communication and a customer-obsessed CI mindset
- Meeting activity targets as set out by the Outbound Sales Program
- Working closely and collaboratively with the Manager, B2B Sales to develop and implement prospecting strategies, contributing to the continuous improvement of the outbound sales playbook
- Reporting on outbound program success metrics with a high level of business acumen to influence business decisions
- Reporting on front-of-funnel trends and assisting with recommendations to continuously improve acquisition processes.

- Legally able to work in Canada
- Completion of criminal background check

The expected salary is $56,000 to $66,000. The actual base pay can increase beyond this range and will be based on various factors, including transferable skills, training and certifications, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
