What a day at EXP has in store for you

Assessing the condition of existing building envelopes, recommending solutions for failed building envelopes, and authoring of reports. Building envelope design review of architectural drawings and specifications Review of submittals, shop drawings, substitution requests and requests for information  Mock-up review, plant visits and witness testing Design and preparation of construction documents of building envelope assemblies in restoration Preparing specifications and drawings for rehabilitation and design projects Conducting construction contract administration and construction review services Performing building condition assessments, performance audit, asset and property review/assessment, reserve fund studies, design, and coordinating various building repair(s) Liaising with clients, building strong client relationships, and generating new business

What your experience looks like

A degree in engineering and registered as an Engineering in Training with APEGA. 2+ years experience in building construction such as a laborer, project coordinator, field engineer. Willing to work at heights and using tools to access at elevated building elements. A valid driver’s license with own vehicle and travel throughout Alberta is required. Skilled at written and verbal communication.
