Overview

: 

This EIT, Rotational Development Opportunity is an exciting way to join the Lafarge Pathways Program for new and recent graduates. The Pathways Program is a 24-month rotational program designed for participants to gain exposure to the various career paths with Lafarge. 
This is a developmental role and an opportunity to gain widespread expertise within our business with the ultimate goal of building a long-term career with Lafarge. You will have the opportunity to be assigned to at least three different product lines during a two-year rotation. Product Lines may include Precast, Pipe, Construction, Aggregates, and/or Ready-Mix.
These assignments are designed to allow you to explore and discover a variety of possible career paths across Lafarge, while accelerating your own personal growth, network and development. Successful participants from this program will transition into full-time opportunities that capitalize their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Learn through hands-on experience in collaboration with subject matter experts as well as a dedicated mentor.
• Rotate to different product lines to build experience and knowledge.
• Gain experience across multiple disciplines including Commercial, Finance, Sales & Estimating, Operations, Quality Control and/or Project Management 
• Meet and interact with fellow graduates, building a strong network across the organization
• Enhance fundamental leadership skills
• Hired for a career with Lafarge, not just a job.

Qualification Profile:

Education:
• Recent graduate from a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology Program (Civil/Structural preferred) or Bachelor of Commerce

•The successful candidate in the role should be registered as an EIT with APEGA or eligible for registration.

• Interest in a long-term career in manufacturing, engineering and construction with a goal to pursue P. Eng. or CET designation.

Experience & Skill Set:
• Demonstrated leadership potential 
• Self-starter / Problem solver / Self-disciplined 
• excellent interpersonal, organization, communication and computer skills
• the ability to work both collaboratively in teams and the drive and passion to individually contribute to great outcomes
• Natural curiosity and passion for analytics and process improvement 
• Prior co-op or work experience in the industry is considered an asset
