Your Role

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will effectively assist on the day to day financial responsibilities as required by the share service center to maximizing cash flow and minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overdue balances. Your goal is to to mitigate any current/future business unit risks while establishing and following through on procedures designed to maximize current and future growth. You will report to the Credit and Collection Manager.

Your Responsibilities

Responsible for controlling the Accounts Receivable portfolio Coordinating communication with Branch Managers and Department Managers. Managing Communications via calls/emails to external customers. Ensure that credit goals are achieved; and accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures are maintained. Develop, analyze the reports regularly and manage if any Invoice disputes Help on reconciling/matching customer accounts when requested. Ensuring that everyone complies with the Accounts Receivable policy and Internal working instructions, memo notes,
Follow ups, Time frame of calls. Assist various levels of management with any/all queries regarding business health and trends (.
billing, GP, volume, Collections, Work closely with the branch controllers to determine and better understand the “root cause” of issues
(. Billing quality, disputes ) and apply added pressure/support as required

Your Skills and Experiences

Post-Secondary Education (Business or Credit) or Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field 1+ years experience in Credit and Collections functions is preferred High level of competence in Excel and operational knowledge related to MS Office  Bilingual in Spanish and English is must Able and willingly to travel (Once in a year)
