We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Reporting to the Controller, the incumbent of this position is responsible for maintaining a good relationship with our customers and ensuring that payments are collected in a timely manner.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Carry out the collection of overdue accounts
  • Deposit checks using the scanner
  • Make credit card payments using the payment terminal
  • Record payments in the accounting system
  • Answer customer calls and emails
  • Distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain the customer database up to date
  • Participate in the archiving of paper files and electronics
  • Participate in any other need of the accounting department in collaboration with other members of the team

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • AEC or DEP in accounting
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Autonomy, sense of organization and priorities
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Mastery of computer tools and accounting software
  • Very good command of spoken and written English to communicate with certain clients.
