Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Agent, Accounts Receivable to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling, collecting, and following up on outstanding accounts in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and collect outstanding accounts within a pre-set timeframe
- Respond to customer inquiries and handle daily phone calls
- Handle daily emails from external and internal customers
- Provide exceptional customer service to external and internal customers
- Establish relationships with travel agents and other departments within the company
- Analyze and reconcile accounts
- Process commission payouts, overpayments, and refunds within prescribed deadlines
- Execute program modification adjustments and refunds
- Control non-ticketed reports to ensure ticket issuance
- Action credit card chargebacks and inquiries prior to deadline
- Process daily cash receipts and bank preparation
- Reconcile and validate bulk payments on a weekly basis
- Reconcile and balance ASR reports from travel agencies on a weekly basis
- Action daily queues from reservation systems
- Verify, validate, and make necessary adjustments to the monthly Sales journal
- Coordinate operational activities for regular bookings
- Verify and remove EBBs that do not meet conditions
- Maintain accurate records of payments, refunds, and back-ups
- Assist in reconciling group files prior to ticket issuance and release of commission
- Apply and reconcile promotions from Sales and Revenue Management
- Assist superiors by suggesting improvements and new ideas in AR daily functions
- Perform other tasks assigned by immediate superiors
- Ensure group queues are actioned daily, invoiced, collected, and contracts received;

Requirements:
- General accounting knowledge with at least two years of experience in an Accounts Receivable department or equivalent
- Knowledge of other department functions within the company
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Bilingualism in English and French is a must
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Ability to work in a team environment as a contributing member to attain department goals
