Overview
The role of the Store Manager is to lead the operational execution of the store to ensure exceptional customer experiences and drive profitable top-line sales growth. They drive personal sales and overall store performance by demonstrating and coaching to the La Senza selling behaviours to create a high performance selling culture within their team and achieve the store’s sales goals. They live our values and represent the brand in their behaviours.
Role and Responsibilities
Create a store environment that is focused on consistently delivering exceptional, positive, in-store customer experiences and demonstrate company selling behaviorsEnsure execution and lead the sales leadership team to ensure associates are coached and developed to the Company selling behaviorsManage and resolve customer relations issuesOwn execution of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process to ensure the store is fully staffed to Company guidelinesOwn talent management lifecycle of direct reports, including assessment, training, retention, career development, succession planning and recognitionLead and delegate, as appropriate, the execution of all company initiativesPlan and facilitate leadership meetings and ensure consistent communication to all positionsPromote and create a positive work environment, and effectively resolve associate relations issuesOwn the physical inventory process and the development and implementation of store strategy to reduce shrinkEnsure standard operating procedures are followed, including damages, transfers and other compliance related itemsEnsure compelling visual merchandising strategies and presentation standards are achieved and maintained, including identifying and executing sell down strategiesAnalyze the business and create/communicate (SMART) action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of all operational activitiesCreate weekly schedules, manage store payroll budget and other controllable expensesEnsure replenishment processes are efficient and the sales floor is full and abundant with all styles, colors, and sizes represented in conjunction with executing the brand guideManage, reinforce and is accountability to all activities related to providing a safe working environmentEnsure that housekeeping and maintenance of store is executed properlyLead with professionalism and behaviors guided by the Company valuesKey Success Criteria
Minimum 3-5 years of retail Management experience, clothing preferredAbility to foster an environment of exceptional customer service and optimize the Company selling modelAbility to effectively delegate, follow up and communicate with all levels of the organizationAbility to assess talent, coach, develop and manage performanceBusiness acumen with strong strategic and analytical skillsSchedule flexibility to include evenings, weekends and non-business hoursAbility to manage complex and competing priorities through time management and organizational skillsA professional demeanor that reinforces brand and company standards-
