Key Responsibilities
* Prospecting new clients to discuss risk management and financial goals
* Cultivating community relationships to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunities
* Developing and executing business plans to contribute to sales and growth goals
* Recruiting and selecting talent, coaching and mentoring employees
* Ensuring maintenance of required licenses and compliance with industry standards
What to Expect
* Regular travel to meet with clients and community members
* Requirement to have a valid driver's license and insurance
* Potential to provide support to clients experiencing personal or financial loss
* Subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check
Requirements
* 3-5 years of management experience in the insurance industry or related business experience
* Post-secondary education in a related field
* Life licence and General Insurance licence, with Mutual Funds licence as an asset
* Completed or working toward a professional designation such as CFP, CLU, CHFC or accredited Financial Planning Designation
