As an Ambassador, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional customer service to visitors and the local community. Your primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, promoting our services, and ensuring a positive atmosphere.

Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 0700 to 1500 hrs

Wage Range: $18/hr 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests at the designated Ambassador location with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the area’s services, amenities, and events to effectively assist visitors.
  • Proactively engage with guests to create memorable interactions and provide excellent service.
  • Promote local attractions and services, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
  • Handle gift card sales and assist with related transactions, balancing sales accurately.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all communications, whether in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local businesses, educating them about our services.
  • Provide directions and information, answering any questions guests may have.
  • Stay informed about merchandise, pricing, and events to offer tailored suggestions to shoppers.
  • Participate in the execution of marketing promotions and community engagement initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to the Crisis Management Plan, maintaining clear communication with team members regarding responsibilities.
  • Contribute to special projects and take on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service or concierge experience.
  • Valid Security License and First Aid Certificate required.
  • Technical skills, including basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer connectivity.
  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and local businesses.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Conflict resolution and management skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible availability and willingness to adapt to changing needs.
