We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Communications Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications within a dynamic organization. Reporting to the Manager, Culture & Communications, you will work closely with our communications specialist to support various internal communication initiatives aimed at engaging and informing employees across the company; ensuring the day-to-day communications operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The intern will support the full communication cycle, from the reception of the brief, interview, and data checking with key stakeholders, key message alignment, brief copywriter, review/edit content, brief graphic designer, and providing graphic feedback, to posting on the official internal communications platforms (Brother Life and Plasmas).

Receive and process Internal Communications Jira Tickets.Update Brother Internal Communications CalendarProduce content for Brother's official communication channels (plasmas and Brother Life)Content Creation: Assist in the development of engaging and informative content for internal communications channelsInterview stakeholders to gather information for the communication piecesPrepare brief and debrief work with external Copywriter, Translator and Graphic DesignerGraphic Design and Multimedia: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics, presentations, and videos for internal communications materials.Shadow Communications Specialist in selected meetings and activitiesCollaborate in internal engagement campaigns taking place during the period of the internshipEvent Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of internal events, such as town halls, team meetings, and employee social events. This includes logistical support, content creation, and coordination with relevant stakeholdersAdministrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the communications specialist, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing communication tools and platforms.

Your Winning Profile:

A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French;Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables and tight deadlines;Experience with multimedia and emerging technologies;Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Web design/Photoshop/InDesign. Additional technical competencies are an asset;Knowledge in photography is an asset;Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;Team player.
