As the People Support Specialist, you’ll be performing the following duties:
Support the People Support Manager on Human Resources related itemsResponsible for preparing the paperwork for new hires, status changes, and employee departures; conducts termination meetings and exit interviews as required.Providing front-line support for employee relation issues, conducts investigations as required.Responding to requests from employees and/or leaders regarding the interpretation of established Human Resources policies. Identifies and escalates unusual requests or employee relations challenges to the People Support Manager.Providing administrative support to HR team members as required: includes scanning and saving documents; filing; completing and copying forms.Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with full-cycle recruitment efforts for all positions, when necessary.Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist on recruitment initiatives, specifically the TIP Mechanics Academy.Responsible to coordinate and support the team and the Mechanic Development Manager with the TIP Academy initiative.Support with recruitment of Mechanic Trainees.Being the first Point of Contact for the trainee mechanic.To be successful you’ll need to have the following skills and abilities:
Post-Secondary education in Human Resources with a minimum of 4 year’s work experience.An excellent communicator and problem solverEnergetic and results-driven.Advanced Excel skills with Intermediate PowerPoint and MS Word skillsExperience with Workday would be a strong assetSelf-motivated with a high degree of organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage a high level of workload#LI-POST-
