• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and comprehensive responses.
• Monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action.
• Assist in the preparation and reporting of financial statements.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations, ensuring all financial data is accurate.
• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining accurate record-keeping.
• Assist in payroll processing using Ceridian for up to 90 employees on a bi-weekly basis.
• Work alongside the financial coordinators, providing support where needed.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online/Desktop for various accounting functions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounting Specialist role or similar
• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks Online and Ceridian
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with billing functions and journal entries
• Ability to create accurate month-end reports
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
