TwitterFacebookGoogle+LinkedInEmailOur client requires an Infrastructure Analyst to support and monitor all IT infrastructure. Analyst must have solid knowledge and experience working in IT Infrastructure & Operations, preferably with experience with Windows servers, VMWare, Exchange and Office 365, and Azure technologies. Must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have solid and proven experience supporting IT infrastructure within a large and complex organization and assessing and recommending support solutions.
This role will be a Hybrid work persona and is expected to work onsite at the client’s head office in New Westminster, BC at least 20% of the week. However, the client is also open to Remote candidates as long as the individual can come into the office in New Westminster, BC when needed.
Responsibilities
Perform implementation, monitoring and maintenance of on- and off-premise data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud-based services, remote systems hosting, infrastructure process automation, data backup and archival systems and processes, systems management software, and related products. Provide technical support and maximize operational efficiency for data center infrastructure. Provide resolution support for all escalated data center infrastructure related operational issues and service requests. Participate in data center infrastructure projects. Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure performance and capacity. Coordinate Change Management for the infrastructure and supporting applications. Provide expertise and assistance to BTS staff concerning data center infrastructure requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
A diploma in Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized institute of technology, specializing in data center infrastructure or a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 4+ years previous experience in an information systems environment involving the data center infrastructure design and analysis, troubleshooting and complex project implementation at a senior level in a large enterprise. Extensive and proven experience managing stakeholders utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements and information from key technical and business areas. Experience writing and documenting operational processes and best practices. ITIL Certification is a preference.-
