About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Systems Analyst to join our IT Department at Vancouver Airport Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technical systems and infrastructure that support our airport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design and Implementation: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain server platforms, storage devices, and computer network resources to ensure high availability and performance.
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Tech Support and Maintenance: Provide level 2/3 technical support and maintenance services for assigned systems, including troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.
- Documentation and Communication: Create and review technical documentation, provide training and guidance to stakeholders, and communicate effectively with business units and vendors.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, implementation, and support.
- Certifications: Microsoft MCSE, MCITP, or MCTS certifications preferred.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
